This kid sure is nosy. But at least he didn’t ask what Frazz is giving her Xmas NIGHT.

However you celebrate it, or even if you don’t…

Remember, the 12 Days of Christmas START on December 26 and run through January 6th. (When the Magi arrived)

Depends on your tradition. Some do not celebrate Christmas until January 6, what we would call Epiphany.

@The Old Wolf: Beautiful! Thank you, and the same to you!

@Everybody: May your Christmas Eve be unhurried and your Christmas Day unharried. May all children navigating between two parental households feel nothing but love. May all without spouses, families, or pets feel companioned. May all those opting for Chinese food and movies have every bit as much fun as those “doing” Christmas. And may there please, please, please be peace on earth.

I’ve suggested to the kids that they could double dip for xmas by spending the 25th here in California and then flying down to grandma’s in Mexico before the 6th… two sets of xmas presents without breaking the rules!

Well actually… You can’t give the servants the day off on Xmas… too many guests to entertain. So you give them boxing day off… but only after they have made up box lunches for the family so that nobody starves to death without the help of the kitchen staff. (Or, at least, that’s the way I heard it.)

Boxing Day.. the day the Poor Box is opened and distributed to those in need. The wealthy added their own twist to it… why they didn’t give these things on or before Christmas I have no idea.
