One of mine (pictured) could demolish a catnip toy in less than a minute.

Sounds familiar. especially on a Monday morning. I think the papers get together and breed over the weekend.

Our local library has toys. You can check them out just like a book. Mostly things like puzzles, stuffed animals, games, and legos.

Better rain than all the snow we’ve been having over here. I don’t blame Fred for wanting to stay in, though. Good weather to curl up by the fire and doze.

I think Luann has already found her calling in life. She just doesn’t realize it yet. She’ll make a wonderful elementary or Kindergarten teacher.

I will be so happy to see the end of ghost cat. I’ve followed this strip for years — my mother used to clip it from my hometown paper and send it to me when I was in college. It’s gotten to the point where I only read it once in a while. Is Mr. Wright deliberately trying to drive off readers?

Chocolate contains theobromine, which is similar to drugs given to asthmatics. It can cause seizures and heart arrhythmias, among other things. The darker the chocolate, the more toxic it is. Chocolate can be toxic to humans, too, but you’d have to ingest an enormous amount of it to cause a problem. It’s also toxic to cats, but cats are much less likely to ingest it. .
