I guess it could be either mourning for walt, one more failed hope for endtown, or just the weariness of his role there which seems to be like the shepard who sees the souls move on… or could be all three.

The only problem with that idea is that if you hold back, then they don’t take it as serious as what others have lived with.. the only way to make it really stick is not to kill them, but kill a loved one while looking at them.

Only THEN, they truly understand. But in a society like this? There’s no point to keeping them around. The rule of law is not very strong here.

I get the impression he doesn’t care anymore. He lost portia because of this pig (literal and figurative sense). As long as he kills her they could shoot him down and he would still consider that a good ending.

This little piggy went to market, This little piggy stayed home, This little piggy had roast beef, This little piggy had none. This little piggy went … Wee, wee, wee, all the way ….. wait, she has no home now.

I think it has less to do with ‘permitting’ something and more with recognizing there’s not a damned thing they can do. Walt killed the wrong guy just a few moments before based on a bad assumption, he’s a bit tipsy… and nevermind the fact he’s standing twice as tall as nearly everyone there and has the muscles behind it, and god knows how many years of pain under that pelt. One pistol is not going to bring Walt down when he’s in a rage.

And there’s no denying that right now… Denise is an affront to everything the town stood for, from trying to start race riots to cover up her own cannibalism to people dying because of her deception… the sentence has been passed, it’s just a formality at this point because if she was taken in and prosecuted she would be executed anyways.

They can deal with the fallout afterwards, but right now? They’re helpless to stop him…. and I doubt they would really want to at this point.

The look in Velda’s face, it reminds me of both disgust and hate at the same time. She is not enjoying this.

Well.. seems I was right about the competing dittos theory (back on the 29th)…I’m wondering who this guy really is now. Lyn? Something seems off… perhaps a memory and no more.

I wonder if what we were seeing is in fact dueling ditto colonies, and wally has to basically prove he’s the bigger badass to get them ALL under control in an all or nothing gambit.

politeness hiding under a layer of ruthless efficiency… he’s not a thug, not by a LONG shot…

Most people who want to be in charge, don’t want the responsibility, just the perks without working to earn them.

He keeps his attitude up and his last name is going to be ‘a l’orange’.
