Assuming you are referring to her choice of last name, there’s nothing wrong with keeping her name after she’s married, and it doesn’t indicate the marriage isn’t strong. My mother kept her name when she was married and my parents have been married for many years.
I know this degree happened faster than the normal length of time one gets one’s phD. But does anybody remember the exact year she got her BA?
