    I think this may be a case of misapplied statistics… To be more useful we really ought to know how many were ‘questionable’ officer involved shootings rather than the total number.

    Also, I’m not sure if this comic was meant to demonize cops or point out our overblown reaction to terrorism…

    Dick Cheney on Terrorism: “Even if there’s just a 1 percent chance of the unimaginable coming due, act as if it is a certainty.”

    Using that same logic, even if there’s only a 1% chance that global warming is real, because the consequences would be so disastrous, shouldn’t we act as if it’s a certainty?
