A man named Meredith Wilson. Love the Music Man because it’s so cleverly done. Like the way the Buffalo Bills sang with Shirley Jones. No one noticed, until Meredith Wilson pointed it out, that “76 Trombones” and “Goodnight My Someone” were basically the same tune.

Did the art style shift a little this week? Or is it just me?

So the groom and bride are up to their necks already. Is Bushmiller sending us some kind of a message?

I shouldn’t be the one to have to tell you this, but I found a post on social media dated four days ago, the cartoonist says the comic strip didn’t work out, and he’s refocusing on other projects.

“That is a ridiculous statement. Goldwater had nothing to do with any of that.”

It was a humorous statement, since Goldwater did not win the election. Think about it…

Good points. I’ve never seen Lucy talk to the dad. Until the story about the expanding elephant, Joe never actually witnessed any of the strange things that go on all around him (as far as I know).

Just wanted to say, this is a great gag today. Great gag.

This strip reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes, the best comic ever, and yet it’s not a copy. Keep up the good work, Eric. I hope it grows into something huge and makes you very prosperous, and that you don’t retire too soon.

I had to go over the strip four times before I understood the gag, but it was worth the effort.

The same reason B.D. from Doonesbury always wore his football helmet until he finally decided not to. The same reason Dagwood Bumstead always wore a shirt with one huge button. The same reason Beetle Bailey always wore his cap over his eyes.
