    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I was surprised to hear of a tornado in Mass. Not too common.

Humidity is still pretty high here. We’ve been getting t-storms and lower temps (high 90’s). Today’s supposed to be back into the 100’s again, though.

Off to my Tuesday fellowship meeting. I have to stop by a friend’s house and pick up the cupcakes. (At least one of them may not make it to he meeting.)

Crankshaft Marvee, are you really expecting reality in this strip? Especially after the one they just finished where they expected a TV show to be aired before it was filmed.

Rex Morgan “It will never come to that.” So, of course it will.

Most people have heard of the Irvine Ranch in Orange County, CA. The above is how James Irvine acquired the ranch. So many people planted forests of Blue Gum and when the market went bust because the wood wasn’t usable, he bought the land for pennies on the dollar.

The city of Lake Forest is built in the middle of one of those Blue Gum forests, hence the name (they built their own lakes).

You wouldn’t if you lived here in the Nevada desert.

We’ve also seen Connie desperate for a permanent relationship with a man.

Another great example of how you pick and choose which strips you want to fit with your own private idea of Lynn’s thoughts and life.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

David, you reminded me of the time I got elected publicity chairman of the “World Friendship Girls” group at our church (Yes, Methodist). I didn’t know I was up for election, and I had absolutely no idea what to do. We didn’t get much “publicity” that year.

Humidity is up to almost 50% here in LV. For us that’s a LOT, especially combined with 100+ temperatures.

Judge Parker David, Ned’s comment is incorrect and insulting. Not all seniors have pensions (in fact they are increasingly UNcommon these days), and those who do would be unlikely to want to work in a garment factory. She is actually talking about exploitation of people who have few other resources.

Even paying just minimum wage with no benefits would be far more expensive than having the clothes manufactured overseas or in Mexico.

You should see the comments on Comics Kingdom about this. Some are even dropping the strip either permanently or until this story is over.

Some people like you and my husband float. Some people like my brother sink like a stone. Olive must be one of the sinkers.

The hairless variety of cats has to be protected from the sun. They burn very easily.

I wear a pair of Crocs flip-flops all the time at home. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. I have worn through 2 pair already and have an extra pair waiting in the wings for when the current ones wear out. (You will note I say “at home”. I don’t wear them anywhere else.) Crocs make great aquatic shoes, too, if you feel the need to be shod in water.
