    I don’t think, they were scared of reprisals from N. Korea. But the e-mails probably contain private commercial information, and they may be getting (their bottom line) threatened with that being revealed, or on a more personal level.

    The evidence for body cameras is rather compelling. An objective record of events, that can’t be denied is surely an objective good. Besides, the cameras aren’t that small. Both sides know they are being recorded and are better behaved.

    The biggest problem facing the Japanese economy… and later the Western ones is the ageing population.
    It’ll hit Japan in the next twenty years, and Europe and the US, after that and with lesser effect. Both Europe and the US are more open to immigration.

    I hope that they manage to send a probe to Europa that can detect if there is even bacteria in the water plumes. The discovery of life, anywhere else than Earth would be incredible.

    I remember doing this myself as a kid, letting the hand-brake off, at the top of the steep drive. I think I was pretending it was a spaceship or something.
