   You’re fighting a losing battle. Common usage rules the day. Language evolves and someone will eventually make up a grammar rule that explains why it’s ‘could of’.

   The firefighters weren’t intentionally smoking pot. They were breathing the smoke fumes from Zonker’s and Zip’s burning crop. In fact, from their comments, it sounded like they didn’t recognize the symptoms.

   Software developers and testers are not interchangeable automatons. There are many republicans in IT—a lot more than when the profession was new.

   BTW, I’m an IT consultant and I pay for my own health insurance. I get to keep it and it’s not increasing in price.
