Guys, I think Hank is just messing with y’all. I think he keeps a bingo card and checks off the comments as they come in. Kinda entertaining for the peanut gallery.
I can’t argue that the action seems to jump around in a somewhat incoherent manner, that the sports portion seems inconsistent with reality and that social issues have crept in. But if you don’t like what you’re reading, then stop following. No one forces you to read.
Having said that, I actually enjoy the comments as much as the strip. Some of the readers are very clever, and others are amusing in their horror at the sudden “wokeness” of the strip. The clutching of the pearls by some of the readers is hilarious.
