We celebrate it way too early, the first Monday in October. I wish we’d celebrate it on the same day as in the states.

    Leftovers? Who has leftovers?

Freeze for future weeks. Wednesday’s lunch was Christmas Eve Swedish meatballs with Christmas Day dressing and harvest time green beans.

I don’t get it. Leftovers won’t stay good in the fridge for weeks anyway. And if you freeze them, it’s really not necessary to eat them on consecutive days. Just space them out and eat other stuff in between.

Why such horror over leftovers? True, certain things keep better than others, but I usually looked forward to leftovers because they were good, and not just those from Thanksgiving or other holidays. In any case, I don’t ever recall them lasting beyond a few days, let alone for weeks. Yes, I realize that they’re exaggerating.
