Jeri needs more work in the decision department. Nicely exaggerated though by Teena. Almost droll.

Exaggerated? Four nights are clearly portrayed in that third panel, thus indicating that Teena’s telling the truth.

Yeah, I agree with Night-G; Teena’s being totally sarcastic. 4 days without food/drink? Actually, with Jeri, I could probably believe she’d go that long without food :P

Cartoons had done that. The more recent “Loony Tunes” had what looked like days passing, then the characters mention how weird it was that the sun traversed the sky in an hour etc.

I think I’m beginning to understand how Allison eventually lost interest. She ran out of ideas; and blamed it on the old-guard competition. That was her excuse, if I recall. She felt she couldn’t compete with the “good ole boys”.

Looney Tunes lost its appeal in the 50’s when the original creators and Mel Blanc retired. Even though Mel’s son continued voicing the characters, the new generation could never recreate the magic Even their seasonal TV specials seemed superficial. Too bad they don’t have a special channel for all those wonderful cartoon classics; which were, of course, always for adults — never for children.

Feel free to buzz off, Mr. Gadfly. Do you come here just to complain?

I happen to like this strip quite a bit.

They still run them on Cartoon Network sometimes.
Animaniacs was great, in my opinion. For me, it recaptured much of the early Warner Brothers charm.
