TEENA: Hey, Dad! What are you working on?
DAD: (Grumpily) Sunday.
TEENA: I don’t know what HE’S mad about – at least he got to skip church.
JERI: Yeah. Where can I get some of those “deadlines”?
JERI: Would you want to be an artist when you grow up?
TEENA: Well, there ARE some real advantages…
TEENA: … you get your own schedule, you get to stay home and wear sloppy clothes to work!
TEEN: On the other hand, you have no medical benefits, no 401K plan, you have to pay taxes quarterly, work through holidays, and never know what your income will be.
JERI: Huh! Well, I’m glad I won’t have to worry about any of those sorts of things.
TEENA: Oh? And why is that?
JERI: Beautiful people glide their way through life.
TEENA: You are indeed fortunate.
