That’s a sign of a very good quality, high-end top…definitely not from the local surplus store.

Needle and thread is why the poorer girls stood out at prom and rock concerts. They usually had some family members that worked in the trade and ‘DAMN!’ – those clothes fit right!

Oh Gaud she is so unattractive to begin with, those square shapeless hips, huge manly hands and scary skunk striped hair. And what’s with those shapeless breasts, blouse like a sack of potatoes.

“Oh Gaud she is so unattractive to begin with…”

There have been so few human females in this strip that it’s tough to tell how attractive she’s supposed to be. I’d guess that, given the limitations imposed upon Gilligan by his style (which is not to say his ability), Carmen’s intended to be a hottie.

I agree. Within the limitations of the style I suspect she is very good looking. To those who don’t believe it, just look at the dogs. The poodle for example must be good looking.

I suspect you could be right and that she is intended to be attractive but because of graphic limitations she is just drawn square. So why doesn’t he round her up a bit to make her attractive?! Perhaps he intended her not to be so attractive and the whistling was just for todays punch line. I Think she was intended to be not so hot and is even modeled after an actual person the artist uses as inspiration. IMHO.
