Chief must be on the fast track.

Pig has to learn to think some of these things, and not say them out loud. Suspensions are expensive.

Scott, that’s the magic of Police Limit!
Actually, it’s funny how writing takes on a life of it’s own. As I was writing this I was thinking, the Chief has a point in the third panel. Then I thought, but the officer has an even more valid point in the last panel!
It was much more like watching a conversation unfold, than sitting at the drawing table writing dialogue.

It is the magic of P.L. for me, for sure! I love the games that the brass play in this strip, and the frustration that follows for Officer Pig. It’s tough to be the little guy who wants to do the right thing for a big machine that survives on its political maneuvers. Image is everything, though.

I just realised the the Chief isn’t wearing a hat, he has black hair, with a white skunkstripe!
