Something tells me his arm isn’t as powerful as a Big League pitcher’s.

After five years of drawing The Rugrats, and currently drawing Maria’s Day, I can appreciate the challenge Schulz had setting up the last panel. Kid characters with big heads and puny arms are hard to pose, so compromises to reality have to be made. His arm wouldn’t be reaching very far into that fridge!

While his arm is in there might as well eat some ice cream.

Charlie Brown, you blockhead! What if someone needs to use that ice and is unaware that you’ve been resting your sweaty arm in it?

That’s gross, Charlie Brown. (Which should be the name of the next Charlie Brown Special!)

Well, Schroeder didn’t say it was a GREAT game… Then, of course, Charlie Brown never DOES have one of those games.
He was the “Born Loser” before Brutus Thornapple arrived in comics.

I’ve been meaning to ask, how do you make those musical notes?

Charlie Brown must be a pretty good pitcher considering all the line drives that keeps knocking him down, at least with his fast ball. .
