Go next door and watch TV with Charlie Brown, or Snoopy.

I had my own TV in my room. And an earplug for after bedtime watching.

Where I grew up in the 60s, a TV in the kid’s bedroom meant their parents were divorced. I don’t know if it was payoff for the split or what, but so it was.

If only they’d had DVRs back then.

I grew up in the sixties too, a tv in the kid’s bedroom meant that I had earned the money for it with my paper route.

Surely it was the rest of your family that needed earplugs!

Well, Lucy, if ONLY you would NOT have lorded it over Linus, like you always did—for one thing, by just WALTZING RIGHT INTO the room, saying,“Switch channels!” like you had every right to take over just like that, in a heartbeat, THEN, perhaps Mom would NOT have felt forced to deprive you two of TV, for a while! That must have been a FUNNY TV program Frieda saw last night, to be worthwhile seeing.

Withdrawal from morphine and its derivatives (such as heroin) usually reaches its peak on about the third day. But more likely than not, the symptoms begin to ease up by about the end of the first week. It’s the same way with TV, or any other addiction in life.

Don’t blame Linus, Lucy… Most of the time YOU won because you gave him FIVE reasons why you should be able to watch what YOU want to watch!

Does Lucy ever take blame for anything?
