Linus would probably do well on Jeopardy.

This from the Queen of One-Upmanship. What’s the matter, Violet — did Linus steal your thunder?

My name is in the Old Testament and in the Book of Mormon. No, not my temple new name; that’s too sacred (not secret) to give out.

Hmm — now you’ve given me a challenge. I can think of at least ten names that fit those parameters right off the top of my head. Give me a hint: Would I find your name in the front or the back halves of the Old Testament and the Book of Mormon?

Why wouldn’t someone named Linus know that the name is mentioned in the New Testament?

By the way, Catholics regard Linus as the second pope.

I would rather have my name written in the Lamb’s Book
    Of Life. And mine is.

Both of my daughters have Biblical names: one Old Testament, one New Testament. They both know well the histories of their Biblical namesakes; however, only one of them is specifically named after theirs. The other is named after a dear friend who happened to have a Biblical name. (Oh, and all 4 of us are in the Lamb’s book…amen and amen!)

Yes, because it’s meek, peaceful Christians exactly like Linus who strap bombs to themselves & blow themselves up in crowds of people… oh wait! That’s right, that’s not Christians! We pray, we serve and though we’re all imperfect, we love.

That Linus is able to quote where his name is from does not make him a Bible thumper, it’s only a display of intelligence.
