If ever there is an iconic comic strip, it is Peanuts. What began in the funny pages in 1950 has developed into an enduring classic. Whether you're persnickety like Lucy, a philosopher like Linus, a joyous Flying Ace like Snoopy, or a lovable underdog like Charlie Brown, there is something to touch your heart or make you laugh in Peanuts.

I never noticed that Snoopy has the doggy back leg thing. Is that just this one or has he always had it?

@Brian K
Usually it stands next to his Van Gogh, in the room with the pool table.

He’s always had it. I noticed it as a kid, when the strips were new.

My pooch just starts kicking his dish around when he thinks it suppertime.

When my dog was a puppy, she would look up at the shelf where the scoop for her food was and whine at it.

A grandfather clock next to Snoopy’s doghouse?

I don’t even HAVE a grandfather clock at my house!

In any event, Charlie Brown is right. According to that clock, it’s only 4:20 in the afternoon — nowhere close to suppertime!

My dog does the same exact thing. She comes out at 4:30 no matter what I say. And she knows it’s too early! She goes to her bowl, pokes it around some then comes back and looks at me. Seriously.

Very nice drawing of the clock.

@Number Three
Exactly. His stomach clock trumps any other clock.
