   Where I live, it’s to keep them from being stolen. The new mugging, locally, is twofold: they either snatch the phone someone is using from their hand and run off, or pull expensive designer glasses off the face of the wearer (on the assumption, I guess, that the victim can’t see well enough to chase them).

   I guess we’ve seen the last of “Blue Blanket, the Terrible”. It was fun while it lasted. The fear in Lucy’s eyes is a memory I’ll cherish all my days.

    Always, yes. I swear my older sister and Lucy were separated at birth. They just can’t stand to see you enjoying anything.

    Interestingly enough, I met my mother’s older sister when she was in her late 70s. Apparently she too “Lucied” my mother from a very young age. She laughed about it when telling the tales, but very shamefacedly. When I asked why, she said part of it was always having the baby sister delegated on her. “Watch your sister.” In those days nobody hired a babysitter.
