Peppermint Patty sits in her desk at school holding a piece of carrot cake and says, "No, not at all..."<BR><BR> Marcie sits behind Patty. Patty says to the teacher, "No, Ma'am...I can't see the question on the blackboard."<BR><BR> Patty lifts her carrot cake and says, "But don't despair Ma'am, I'm eating carrot cake!"<BR><BR> Marcie looks at the ceiling in disbelief. Her glasses are pushed up on her forehead. Patty contemplates the cake and says, "Yes, Ma'am... a little mid-morning snack.<BR><BR> Patty says, "Carrots are good for your eyes. You knew that, didn't you Ma'am."<BR><BR> Patty finishes the cake. "There! That was great!"<BR><BR> Patty strains to see the chalkboard. "Okay, now let's take another look at that question on the blackboard."<BR><BR> "I can see it! The carrot cake did its job," Patty says.<BR><BR> Patty says, "Yes, Ma'am. I can see the question, but I still don't know the answer.<BR><BR> Marcie says to the teacher, "Don't sigh, Ma'am. Eating carrot cake in the morning makes you weird.<BR><BR>
