Charlie Brown is sitting on the bean bag watching t.v.; he looks back as the phone rings.

Peppermint Patty stands by the table holding the phone to her ear. She says,"Hi, Chuck! You've been over her, and watched some of our games, haven't you?"

Charlie Brown stands between the table and the sofa with his phone to his ear. He smiles and replies,"Sure, I'm one of your biggest fans...you have a great team..."

She says,"Well, good! You should come over today because it's 'Fan appreciation Day'"

He walks down lane saying,"Wow! When you go to some ballparks on 'Fan Appreciation Day,' they give away caps, and T-shirts, and jackets, and gloves, and bats, and everything..."

As he walks up to Peppermint Patty standing in the lane, she exclaims,"Hi, Fan!"

He exclaims questioningly as she grabs him in a bear hug and shouts,"We appreciate you!!"

He stands and says,"You mean, that's it?"

He looks at the reader as she walks off saying,"We have a low budget, Chuck!"
