Spike lies in a sleeping bag in the desert with his head resting on a rock. He smiles and thinks,"Ah! Clear and sunny!" He stands atop a mound and spreads his hands; he thinks,"Attention, everybody!"<BR><BR> He trots along with his hands in the air. He thinks,"Welcome to the cactus club sports day!"<BR><BR> He points to his right and thinks,"Our first race will be twenty laps..."<BR><BR> He continues,"That means down and back, down and back, ten times...."<BR><BR> He spreads his hands and smiles. He thinks,"Just remember, we're out here to have fun..."<BR><BR> He looks to his left and thinks,"Are there any questions?"<BR><BR> He stands next to a cactus and looks out over the desert. He thinks,"Yes, well, because this is a swim race, I guess we do have one small problem....."<BR><BR>
The club tried having a water drive to raise water for a pool, but none of the cacti were willing to donate.
