    Foolish voters! Why don’t they vote for the candidate of FOX News, the Koch Brothers, and Gary Busey?

    @Kip W

    Nothing aired on Fox News could possibly be scarier than Gary Busey.

    Yep, sure they did. It’s all the labor union’s fault. And Soros.
    More opinion-based facts?

    Because recessions are so much fun! Dubya only gave us a small one towards the end of his term, but Obummer (so far) has extended it for his WHOLE nearly 6 years! Everybody knows the middle class just wants to be poor and Obozo will do his darnest to make that happen.
    …or perhaps they are too busy watching pro wrestling, dancing with the stars, american idol to pay attention and think through the issues so they get Oprah’s advice on who to vote for.

    Yeah, that’s right. The recession is all Obama’s fault. Everybody knows that!
    And “everybody” doesn’t watch those stupid programs, but get everything they need to know from FOX News.

    Whose propaganda? “MSLSD” is the conservative’s equivalent of “Faux News”, apparently? Fair enough, I’ll not use the term in the future (but FOX News is far more partisan than any other network).
    My post above was “sarcasm”, but I actually agreed with half of Echo’s post. He/She is wrong about it having been a “little” recession brought on by GW’s administration (cue Harley with “but, but, Buuuuush”), and the actual obstruction by Republicans is largely to blame for the prolonged effects. But I totally agree with Echo that too many people (for whatever reason) don’t pay attention to the effects of political decisions that cause a difference in their lives.
    Or were you (like me) just being snarky?
    I think it’d be fun to sit and have a few beers with you over some of these issues. Ain’t gonna happen, we’re on opposite sides of the continent, but I’m sure there are areas of common ground we would agree on.
