Okay,my ancestry ris German, Irish, and Cherokee. Here’s what bothers me: what is “Hispanic”, or even "Latino/Latina, when what they REALLY mean is MEXICAN! Which is sill non-descript because that can mean someone who’s “racially” ranging from 99% Spanish/European, to 99 or even 100% “Native Amrican”,as in Maya! Which can also go for folks from Central America, like Guatamal or Honduras, or South America Ah, but Brazil speaks Portugese, not Spanish, so more confustion.
Is Louis Hamilton, Formula One driver and British, who’s also mulato, an “African American” as I’ve heard TV folks announce?
In most of the world, people associate more with TRIBAL groups, in rather limited geography, usually, not some massive pot, with dozens of nationalities thrown in, or for that matter, as a politically assigned “nationality”, like Iraqi, Afghan, Mexican, OR American, when “push comes to shove”.
Maybe if the census just had ONE identifier, “Citizen of the United States”, or not, some of the bigotry would end? Nah, because people even here really don’t want to give up their ethnic/racial idtenties either. Hmm, like “wealthy white guy” for the majority running the GOP?

Actually the party of “studio” is the Democratic party. The dumbing of America has more than the elite intellectuals who may be Reps, but are more likely to be the minority Libertarians who know how to think for themselves.

I’m sorry am not a bigot but the latino are not the group I am worried about it the muslims that worry me. Iknow that not all of them are going to get in a car with a bomb in it and drive to my house. But who knows
