At one time it was the railroads, then the auto industry. Today, it’s the energy companies.
But, throughout it all, the wealthy were, and are there.

Generous amounts of carbon are in many meals my wife makes. I swear, she’d burn water. I tell her, somewhere watching, Julia Child is weeping.

Greed is an integral part of our eternal problems. They should develop a vaccine to eradicate it.

Thanks for the comment. However, it might take more energy than economical to do that at this time. Deuterium for use in nuclear power will probably be extracted with better effect in the beginning, and research will yield better options later. If only affordable fusion technology were here, many problems would be solved.

Meanwhile, I will nominate my wife for a Nobel Prize. We could use the money to eat at restaurants.
    .
PBS showed a neat thing of Julia Child clips processed into a rap video. We had a good laugh at it.

Ummm… the savory dish on the right looks suspiciously like a human foot.
    .
If Mr. Koch was served that at home, he’d probably yell at his chef: “Must you always buy the cheapest cuts of meat?”

Whoever develops the vaccine will become filthy rich
from the greediest buying it all up and destroying it
to prevent its reaching the market. GREED IS GOOD!

Hadn’t noticed until you mentioned it.
Well, that is one way of reducing the carbon footprint.

All roads lead to…blisters on one’s foot when it is well trod. And a lousy carbon footprint if one chooses to buzz about on fossil-fuelled craft to avoid the blisters.

Funny. As if there’s any energy produced that doesn’t leave one. Try sorting out the damage done by the metals needed for wind turbines
