Current guess is that Kentucky is leaning slightly toward Mitch at this point, but Billary is going to throw all they have in support of the Democratic contender. If the Kentucky Senate seat goes blue, it’s a big star on Billary’s report card. If it stays Red, well, it was always a solid Red and nothing could have changed it, but Billary showed their loyalty to the party and still deserves the nomination.

As for all big-shot politicians of all parties, defeat would be a temporary blow to the ego, but soon a chance to make real money: speaking engagements, boards of directors, consulting firms, honorary degrees, book deals, etc. Oh please, begged Br’er Rabbit – don’t throw me into the briar patch!

I’d prefer the Democrats run someone I’d want to vote for instead of running someone who’s just viewed as not as bad as the Republican candidate.

I’d hate to see a Republican seat go over to the dark side, but I also hate to see politicians set up shop for life. He’s had 5 terms, enough already. Can we get both sides to agree that we’re way overdue to put some term limits in place?

Hasn’t been such a candidate fielded by either
Partei in the last 60 years or more

Mitch McConnell has never been safer and stronger in Kentucky, despite delusional Democratic wishes and equally delusional assertions. McConnell has done a yeoman’s job for the state and, though he may be more a technologist than a strategist, he has delivered what the nation needed: a strong force against the galloping social and financial overreach of the Obama administration.

Thanks, Mitch. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work.
