Good to see Mr. Oliphant has addressed one of the issues that are far more pressing than generating more hysteria and misinformation pertaining to HB1070 in AZ. Read the bill………………………….. This is a nation of laws and law abiding citizens; if you are here legally you have nothing to fear, if you are here illegally you need to leave and return legally……………… If you are a bandit working for the corporate structure; we the people are going to find a way to expose you and change the way you do business………….. This has nothing to do with race and everything to do with playing by the rules of our land…………………… Peace………………

“Doofuses Beware”- Best one I’ve seen on the “Gold man sacks” extravaganza. Wonderful!

“I do not recall what I was thinking when I wrote that email, Senator. The only thing on my mind was that this won’t have any impact on my contractually guaranteed BONUS, which will allow me to retire before I turn 29.”

The best comment is: “Triple A”. The ratings agencies need to have their day before the grand inquisitors.

Punk’s comments are usually the heart of the cartoon.

    Too much testosterone.

A WSJ ran a story, “Fraud Doesn’t Always Happen to Someone Else” by Karen Blumenthal. This article noted that “The typical investment scam victim is an optimistic married man in his later 50s who has a higher-than-average knowledge of financial matters and deep confidence in his own judgment, [essentially, a description of the Obama team, and the BushII/Cheney team, and the Clinton team,]…according to research funded by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s Finra Investor Education Foundation.”

The article went on to say, “Women were more cautious and asked too many questions, he [a conman] said, prompting an office maxim, “Don’t pitch to the b–.”

We’ll continue to have ‘business cycles’ of over exuberance, running with the pack, high-testosterone risk taking and collapse as long as the financial sector is dominated by men. BALANCE.

And the Nopublicans refuse to allow a debate on banking reform. The Senate rules are really messed up when the Minority can block and delay reform that those who voted for Obama have every right to expect.

Again – since when do we need 60 votes to do anything in Congress? Never used to hear anything about filibuster – now it comes up every time there is a bill.
