    Cheese whiz sure has changed. Tried some about 3 years ago and it was mostly vegetable oil.

    Do you mean actual Cheez Whiz or the cheese in a can?
    I seriously have never had cheese in a can. My wife and daughter love the stuff but you’re lucky if I even touch the can.

    Okay folks, let’s think TWINKIES here. Consumables can last forever.

    @bubbareb

    A recent Horror flick had a character whose evil power was decay. He tried to eat a sandwich but it turned rotten in seconds. The only thing he could eat was a Twinkie. Funny as hell, er, wait…

    I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a Twinkie or a Twinkie wannabe. Guess I’m lucky.

    I think a best by date is a law thing, as there are some products that just don’t go off.

    Years ago I use to buy cheese that was packaged in a plastic tube with a metal clip sealing the tube on each end. There was a snap on cap in the middle of the tube. I forget the name of it. That was some very good cheese. I have not see it in years.
