If the music’s too loud, you’re too old.

If the music you listened to as a kid is now considered classical music … you’re old.

Went to a performance by a Fleetwood Mac cover band as an office Christmas party.
Oldies like me loved it, kids in their twenties who didn’t know the music hated it and left.

AARP never takes NO! for an answer. Probably run by the guys who spent all of high school harassing the girls.

Recorded or live? Some of the loudest concerts I’ve attended were philharmonic orchestras and the right acoustics will set your whole body abuzz.

Went to see Bob Seeger and the Silver Bullet Band a few weeks ago: 9,000 people overweight, losing their hair and taking forever to get up the steps at Norfolk Scope. Concert was great, audience was sort of sad. BTW, Bob is 68. But can any of you lie on your backs and foot dance a mouse in circles with your feet?

I wonder if “____ called, they want their ____ back” is just as much a sign of old age as “you kids, get off my lawn!”

Bruno Zeigerts: It was then too. Classical is what can be popular and last, all without payola.

You’re old if they play it in elevators.
