    Bidding against himself?

    Saw a Hammy today at the doc’s office. It ran across a roof (one floor below) and disappeared over the side.

    The funny thing is Hammy will loose the bid anyway.

    It seems every time I want to bid on something on ebay, there’s always bids coming from bidders with zero transactions. I believe it’s called ‘shill bidding’. It’s against the rules, but ebay can’t really stop it.

    re: Black4dder
    Zero transactions……the first time you bid on something you had a history of zero transactions. If I was to go on ebay today and bid on something, I would have a history of zero transactions. We all have to start somewhere. Or did you start in the middle somehow?

    This one reminds me of an old reference I saw to imaginary numbers, like eleventeen and thirty-twelve.

    Today’s comic made me smile.

    @TheTrustedMechanic

    Thank-you TrustedMechanic, that’s it exactly. These vendors make a big deal about having no reserved, but then a zero transaction bidder shows up in the last two minutes to aggressively bid. It still comes down to knowing your price and not getting ducked into over-paying.
