    Herb? Do demons have names?
    .
I’m not real interested in knowing the names of the demons in people that I’ve occasionally run across. Lots of occultism and drugs in the northwest (we were overrun by denizens of LA and SF in recent decades) that opens people up to possession. First time I ran across it to know it was a woman who came into the restaurant I worked at. She literally moved like a snake. I’d served her her dinner not knowing what was up and when I looked at her face to greet her as I brought the tray over… Gack! Revulsion and surprise at meeting her eyes and seeing them blank. When I went back to the kitchen, my boss said there was something wrong with that lady. Umm, ya think?

Isaac Asimov ran a few short stories featuring a demon named Azazel. Personally, should I ever find myself possessed by a demon, I would prefer for it to have a name with at least one “z”.

Had to read it a couple of times, but I got it. Verne says exercise; RJ hears exorcise, which explains his answer about Herb.

Know what happens if you don’t pay your exorcist’s bill?

    You get repossessed.
