Don't miss the daily misadventures of cartoonist Chip Dunham's clever crew of shipboard malcontents, incompetents and laggards. Overboard stands out with a pointed wit that has dagger-sharp timing and effect.
Louie, the ship's faithful dog, is the center of attention of the adventures on land and at sea. His human companions not only have to deal with Louie and his requests, but also the many problems they face living at sea, like dolphins eating their garden, and sea monsters taunting Louie. The entertaining exchanges between Louie and the humans on the ship will have readers coming back for more of this cast-away comedy. Man overboard!

OK… OK….. maybe I’m the vegetable, but he needs to plant one very large rabbitt.

That’s Charlie, the ship’s green thumb who really should consider giving up gardening rather than working to feed the over-sized jack rabbits.

I think Charlie would rather plant his boot into those rabbits if he could ever get close enough to them.
Good Morning, Crew!

Out where I live, the city of Atlanta has grown up all around us, and there are jillions of deer living around us. Try to grow anything….food, flowers, anything is food for deer.

Thank you all again for your kind comments! We’ve got to take care of our boy, Louie!! Right?

In our sub deer ate our hollyhocks and hostas, groundhog and son ate all our phlox, it is neverending. Rabbits do the rest. All I can say to the pirate chef, wise up and concoct a delicious rabbit stew. They are evil and the mice not so nice either Mad already and it’s not even time to plant… that comes end of May.

Good Morning Crew,
For all you Suburbanites who don’t live in Gated Communities might I recomend “Louie Hair” or any dog hair around your plants and gardens to keep the deer at bay. Note this also works for Country Dwellers as well. In regards to Spring, Punxutawney Phil climbed out of his hole and no shadow was in sight. So, we are back to the Power of Suggestion. In your dreams just think of “GRILLIN TIME”
Have a GREAT DAY MATIE’S and please sign up for the Elmer Fudd School of Rational Thinking.
