    Because they are a dog owner who appreciates their canine companion(s).
    We have a bone decoration on our Christmas tree … it’s right here beside me as I write.

    I never thought of a bone decoration on the tree, but i do have two dog ornaments on the tree.

    The only logical reason for hanging that bone ornament on the tree was to torment Loue. Don’t blame him if he pulls the tree over to get it.

    I would figure Henry wanted Louie to feel he was helping to decorate the tree with an ornament of his own. That’s the way I view it.
