    Everyone these days credits Edison with the practical use of electricity, but it was Tesla who came up with Alternating Current. Edison was devoted to the much more dangerous Direct Current.

    The radium painters, women, paid dearly for their company lying to them. Radium is radioactive and they would put their paint brushes in their mouths to tighten them. Most of them died from radiation poisoning.
