Was this the first time the boys got spanked in the strip? I used to see them get put over their Mama’s knee almost every week!

And that is why you no longer see strips like this. Some pundits said it caused violence.

My brother and I got spanked all the time (I usually deserved it) and I didn’t become a serial killer.Bring back spanking. “Time Out”s are stupid!

Oh I can agree on more than one point.
To get a good Road Runner Coyote cartoon you have to get the “adult” DVD to see the cartoon as it originally was done. Wolf and Sheepdog. These old comics.
On the Shriner by Zarth…..Not a Shriner the cap is a turkish thing that was popular back in those days. Smoking Jacket, cap was a relaxation thing. The tassels on Shriners are black not yellow. Just like sleeping with sleeping cap. Back then it was a bug problem. This is pre so called modern times.
They switched out his regulart distance glasses with his magnifying reading glasses.

Nice surreality here. Those kids got their butts beaten every strip for they were naughty.

What’s not funny in real life is hilarious in comics.

What if the parent has hooks for hands? At least with timeouts, the scars are only psychological, not physical?

Why do you say that abusive people should have their arms sliced off while at the same time saying physical violence should be a “last resort”!!
