   Hyenas have bad press. They are nice animals, live in social groups, look after each other, and are nice to their parents. They even have fabulous teeth which means they brush at least daily, though scientists are still looking for proof of it but they keep eating the toothbrushes. Lions are really the meanies, but they have better lobbyists.

   my husband can solve Ruthie’s dilemma: he only eats the pink frosted animal crackers – you can’t tell what animal it is! (It’s his comfort food from kid-hood)

    Yes Disney usually makes the carnivores the enemy unless it is a “noble” lion then it is the hyenas who get the shaft. They have a different kind of social order. (Every hyena has a penis, those on the females are fake.)

    one of my wife’s freinds brought over some homemade animal crackers the other day that she made in the shape of ducks……..My wife said " Watch how i bite a duck’s head off every day"…then she looked at me……
