    You can’t judge the whole computer by the monitor.

    You can still buy CRT monitors.
    Some libraries still use them, because they’re much more resistant to damage from ignorant, careless or destructive users.

    Yes, you can get flat panels with glass screens, but they’re expensive.

    Yes, this is what the majority of internet connections that are provided for free to the “less fortunate” are used for. Those dolts do not care about research or homework. They only care about sites that link to sports, gambling, hip-hop or porn.
