We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

Sounds like the government.

Maybe it’s time for Gianni’s daughter to have a brilliant idea and invest some heart and soul into the restaurant! (I really want them to “fix this” too, but I don’t have much confidence in either Claire or Gianni…)

There are ways to turn around a restaurant, from watching Gordon Ramsey, and other shows on the Food Network. But I sure as heck wouldn’t want to give advice about this. You don’t want to give advice about anything unless you know exactly what you are doing from training and experience. You can’t just wing it – there’s too much at stake. But about her relationship with Paul … Claire might want to concentrate on that. And unlike a restaurant, this is something she could easily improve on with just a little more effort. I mean Claire isn’t doing anything at all and Paul is still there. The first step is to start watching pro football on the weekends. This is where the all the Cialis commercials are now. Ignor how the gorgeous women in them have a delirious look on their faces when throwing themselves at grizzled men with blood-flow problems, as if it’s their first time. But instead notice how affectionate these men and women are with each other. This is great acting! Make sure it is imprinted how they snuggle and nuzzle and dance. If Paul isn’t put off by the delirious face expression, then Claire should do that, too. And about those expressions of ecstasy? They both already do that all of the time when eating out at restaurants.

That is soooo harsh. She didn’t force him to do anything and he’s making her feel horrible for something he followed through on. For shame.

Not a bad idea. She’s the one who will “inherit” the restaurant.
