When we moved, in the military, my pets would always look for something familiar being set up in the new place. The cat looked for the dining room table to lay under. My dalmatian hated it when we got out luggage, he knew what was coming.

Did they move or are they just in the process of returning home? I’m just a touch fuddled. Maybe because they were gone so long.

They probably liked the previous place with Claire’s mom there, the plush carpeting, better food, etc.

They had gone to Europe for a week or more. So the pets were in a kennel for the same amount of time.

They weren’t in a kennel. Claire’s parents took care of them in their house.

I moved four times this summer. The stress cost me 20 lbs (which I could not afford) and an ulcer. I have gained back only 10.

Thanks. I’m taking omeprazole for the stomach, and I’m up to 143lbs. Normally I’m between 150 and 155. At over 6’-1", I’m normally “painfully” skinny anyway.
