   He actually gets the cat. They may not do tricks, but a cat on the lap is one of the great pleasure of life.

   They get on your lap and purr. One thing the dog can’t do is purr. Maybe one day one will be engineered to do so.

   I used to be a dog person, but now I’m a cat person. So much easier to care for. And no more stepping in dog doodoo out in the yard. Actually I’m a no pet person right now. Our cat died of kidney failure at 14. Currently we have a temp cat. He belongs to our neighbor but likes us better!
