Yup, sort of like last years government study on the polar icepack where they discarded 85% of the data in order to “prove” the ice pack was receding, despite 5 years of record ice and the Baltic and Thames freezing for the first times since WWII.

The Met office, despite wanting global warming, had to admit that in 15 years, it had seen no warming.

Record lows across entire continents for months at a time.

    Yup. Warming up…

They’ve been falsifying and fudging data for decades in many fields. Global warming is just one of the latest of hoaxes.

Almost nobody is qualified to speak authoritatively from her or his own personal knowledge about climate change, so we’re almost all stuck deciding whose word to take on it.

So, on the one hand, we’ve got the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, legions of top-flight meteorologists who’ve devoted their entire professional careers to the subject, have access to the most sensitive instruments and literally centuries worth of data, and have used the world’s most advanced supercomputers to come up with the models that say, yes, it’s happening, and the pace is accelerating.

On the other hand, we’ve got a couple of cranks in the comment section of a comic strip.

Hmmm, well, I suppose we really need to give equal weight to both sides, now don’t we?

When I said gas I meant natural gas not petrol. Now petrol is finally on the downward monthly cycle from 1.63c per litre. It’s funny how petrol is dear because the Australian dollar was high and even dearer now the dollar has fallen.

Whether global warming is a myth or not… adjusting our living habits and emissions couldn’t hurt.

The Earth has been producing its own global warming for millions of years. We’re just giving it a helping hand.
