O’Reilly is so tall and intimidating he’s scare ISIL into surrender in an instant if he could just get plane fare to confront them, just read his books, and repeated brogadocio if you don’t believe him at his oral proclamations!
Stewart did good by showing Brian’s original, and correct report at the time, as well as how the story grew, like any fisherman’s catch will over time. It IS a human failing and he apologized for it, on Iraq and Katrina, but at least the tape proved that unlike Fox, he wasn’t lying and making it all up from the start. His first report was indeed acurate to the facts that the ship ahead of him was hit by the RPG. WHICH btw, obviously passed through the fuselage and didn’t detonate.
There were lots of reportts, and video, of bodies floating at various locaions from Katrina, so the stretch to “seeing them” wasn’t totally a reach either, just seen on the field reels, not in person.
