    American-Hater Anderson at it again.
Blame Holder and Barry if you want to claim racism.

Take another look at the cartoon. It’s not about racism, it’s about the freedom of the press being suppressed by police. If you support his freedom to express his opinion, then it is YOU who hates America.

Nicky forgot to put his beloved Obama in the comic. Let’s not forget the administration targeting reporters James Rosen, or Sheryl Attkisson, or his intimidating the mainstream media to cover him in a positive light, or his not allowing the press to be at many of the events including the one with former astronauts.

So, ConservGov, America lovers should approve of cops who shoot those with their hanks up?

Should have just said USA. The police are militarized across the entire country. We have created our own Gaza Archipelago, except that the death toll is much, much lower, and our citizens haven’t responded to thuggish police with the same level of violence. Yet.

While I could care less about the Washington Post, I do agree that none of our Constitutional rights should be infringed or restricted. I just wonder were all this liberal, righteous indignation is when the 2nd amendment is constantly trying to be restricted??

FD93: and where are all the “conservatives” as the 1st Amendment is being trampled into the mud? And the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th?

Maybe you should read the 2nd amendment in context. Are you really a part of national militia? Which National Guard Unit have you joined?

This morning Capt. Johnson of the Missouri State Police stepped up and spoke to the change in policy last night, ordered by a properly trained riot PREVENTER stepping in and getting rational control by working WITH the people, instead of fighting them. It was an interesting news conference to see his intelligent, interactive with the crowd, approach, that calmed things down. Exactly what should have been done immediately after the “incident”.

Havinge experience with the first Watts riots, and FBI and military training on how how defuse riots, and seeing that advice ignored by “higher ups” in my organization, resulting in damage and injuries, it was nice to see Capt. Johnson take charge, and work With the community which IS his “home community”.

“Military tactics” of armored cars, “riot gear”, and gas as a first step, is STUPID, and counter to good law enforcement. “Protect and Serve” means what it says, but in a society now prone to accept violence as an answer to everything, like bombing Iraq,Afghanistan, Grenada, Panama, and elsewhere, DOES carry over into our streets, and it’s stupid politics, social organization, and policing.

Been on those streets, defused other situations, and know that good training and common sense WORKS!!

At the same time, security tape of the Brown kid robbing the convenience store and strangling/battering the clerk (it’s called “strong arm robbery”) should have been shown sooner, so people understood that reports of his side of the story weren’t quite as blown out of proportion as this “good kid”, might not have been as saintly as presented, by those wanting to START a riot..

Force the media out of town. Confiscate cameras. Set up lines of police cruisers with their high-beams on to foil long-range camera lenses.

And yet I’m the one who’s told “if you have nothing to hide, then you shouldn’t be afraid of constant surveillance”.

You are absolutely desperate to turn this blatant example of racism and police brutality into another anti-Obama screed, aren’t you?

Ferguson is not a state, but Missouri is. All of the states in the United States are militarizing their police forces trying to eliminate all risk for their officers. If more brown people get murdered for having a gram of illegal drugs, that’s the chance they take.

Maybe you should try re-reading the 2nd amendment in context. There is nothing mentioned at all about a “national militia”. The right is an individual right, just like all the other rights listed in the Bill of Rights. The state militias were made up of citizens who provided their own weapons. And really the Bill of Rights lists individual rights, it doesn’t grant rights to the government.
