Same old liberal ranting. You should be hired on sexual orientation, skin color, or being a female. Not on who is most qualified. Come to the job with qualifications for the job, not why you should be hired because of some “minority” status.
Nick must have not looked at the news this morning. Houston re-elected Mayor Parker. LESBIAN. But she ran on what she did for the city, not her orientation.
There are people who look at the gay community as sinners and perverts who are a threat to society. They also do not want to provide employer benefits to gay couples as if they were hetero couples. This is a generational attitude and with like that prejudiced generation, is slowly dying off. It is a shame that people can’t be judged by their talents instead of who they love.Respectfully,C.
In the old days, homosexuality would have excluded you from getting a security clearance. If admittedly gay, you would not get the job.Hopefully things are better now.

“There would be a lot more JOBS.. if the Republicans did what they promised to do on the runup to the election.. Remember? JOBS JOBS JOBS.. mind soon as they won it was stop abortions.. stop ACA.. in short STOP everything.”.As already mentioned they are in the minority so either Democrats really don’t give a rodent’s posterior or they are incompetent. .…or both.
