It’s easier to punch another hour into a digital clock than to take 23 hours off.

You shouldn’t have to set your DVR if it is on ATT. Not my computer either. Just two clocks.

No DVR should make you reset the clock – otherwise, recordings that are set up for between when you change the time and when the time actually changes will be off by an hour.

Precisely why we should end the charade and do away with DST. We save nothing.

Where I used to work I had to reset the time clock one Autumn. It wouldn’t go back, only forward. I had to crank it ahead six days and twenty-three hours, because it stamped the day of the week as well as the time. The next year it dawned on me to simply unplug it for an hour.

All my clocks do it automatically (except my ding-dong clock on the wall, I’ll just leave it as is until March.)
