My dad had me hold his cigarette for him when he was working on the car once when I was about 6 or 7. One puff was all it took to convince me I didn’t want that crap anywhere near me.

Quit smoking when I got my first child. Could not see how to tell her to never get into the habit while holding a lit cigarette in my hand…
