That’s because everyone is on the left side waiting for the red light to turn green…..long wait there….

    Ah, Justin, although it’s a Classic, it’s also a Pearl. ;-)

He really should give a full spectrum report.

All those busy little photons, bustling along the Rainbow Bridge! Yep: light traffic…. (And I didn’t think Thor had a sense of humor!)

Hot with no chance of Bifrost.

I do love this classic big brother. Panel 4 is worth blowin’ up and framing just for Thor’s expression. That is the true definition of a cheesy grin. ;:^)

More specifically, a gjetosty grin, since it’s so sweet.

    Hot, but not skalding.

Curious: Why the Pastis mentions? Did he do a joke like this one that I missed?
And yes, we used to hang out together years ago. He gave me a great quote for the back cover of my MythTickle book.

Only thing is, Pastis puns are usually belabored. For example, when Pig dated a woman who showed him a golf tee from Virginia and misplaced it, he told her father she’d lost her Virginia tee….

    Re: Pastis and jokes/puns

Well, there’s the “Dunk rye for me, Arch and Tina!” strip of Dec 06, 2009 (My personal favorite.)

And there’s the “Road to Hell is paved with Good and Ten Chins” strip of March 02, 2004.

And a lot of the Sunday strips, most recently the August 25, 2013 strip. (Which, technically speaking, isn’t a pun but involves funny wordplay.)

Does anybody have or know of a more-or-less complete list of PBS pun strips?

‘Worthy of Pastis’ is a complement(at least, from me) that implies that you are a punster of the first order.
