Just stick with aetiological myths, Thor. And stay away from philology….

Philology? Sif would kill him if he even looked at Ology twice the wrong way!

Maybe Thor is a Robert Lynn Asprin fan.

Isn’t Thor a little old for school? I mean, regardless that he’s how many thousands of years old, he’s got a bigger mustache and eyebrows than most teachers I’ve seen (although I’ve seen a couple teachers who’s eyebrows would be close). :-s

That is actually the title of Robert Lynn Aspirin’s second “Myth Adventures” series (except it’s plural). And I just found out he died…. in 2008! Oy!

Thor may not do well as a aetiologicist but he does great as a paronomasiac!

I was in a sci fi bookstore, buying an Asprin book, when the clerk told me he had died only a few weeks before — while reading a Terry Prachett novel. I said it was too bad, but you could do worse than die with a Pratchett novel in your hand. The clerk turned to another and asked, “Are we putting warning labels on the Pratchett shelves?”

Terry Pratchett is the best novelist. I think we’ve read 90% of his books, own 50% and the movie the Colour of Magic.

This strip is great too. Just started a couple months ago.

Reminds me of when a character would mess up in Peanuts.
