    No, an alicorn is not a unicorn. An alicorn, depending on whether you use the original meaning, or the recent redefinition, is either a unicorn’s horn, or a winged unicorn. A standard unicorn is a unicorn, or very rarely, a monoceros. (Which is the direct Greek translation.)
